Nicolas is a rural development specialist and sustainable food systems strategist with over nine years of experience at the intersection of regenerative agriculture, circular economies, and inclusive technology. Currently a member of the FAO Young Scientists Group and an alumni of EIT Food Innovation Fellowship, he champions climate-smart solutions and entrepreneurship models that empower rural communities without displacing their food systems.
He has led 20+ development projects across the Mediterranean and West Africa, collaborating with FAO, UNDP, GIZ, and ENI CBC Med. From founding Mawsam Beirut, a logistical hub boosting market access for Lebanese producers, to building value chains that support over 400 farmers through Fair Trade Lebanon, Nicolas has a proven track record in turning grassroots potential into real impact. Now based in Berlin, he serves as Go-to-Market Strategist for CinSOIL GmbH, an agri-tech startup revolutionizing soil carbon monitoring through AI and satellite Earth Observation data. His mission? To bridge high-tech with local resilience, and to make sure no one is left behind.
